Farhang - A Comprehensive Offline Tajik Dictionary
Farhang is a specialized Android application that includes three dictionaries and is completely free to users. One of the most distinguishing features of Farhang is that it doesn't require an internet connection to function. Therefore, users will never be without a translator even if there is no phone or internet connection. The entire database is saved on the phone and is always available.
The user interface is highly intuitive and comfortable. In addition to the input field, there are five additional buttons that allow users to enter special Tajik language symbols that are not available on a standard keyboard. Even without downloading an additional keyboard, users can enter full Tajik text. Unfortunately, the application is not available in Russian, but it is simple enough to use that users can navigate it without understanding the interface translation.
The lexical database of the application contains more than 135,000 articles. Therefore, if a word cannot be found in the standard database, it can be searched for in these articles. With the combined search format, finding the desired translation is much easier, and the likelihood of success is much higher.
